Noia Virtual Town Hall 2

Building upon the success of our first virtual town hall, Noia will be hosting a second town hall via Zoom on Thursday, May 14, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration will close on Wednesday, May 13 at 4:00 p.m.

Noia would like to advise members that registration should be undertaken using an internet browser other than Microsoft Internet Explorer which is no longer being supported.

The town hall will include a panel discussion featuring:

• Hon. Brian Tobin, PC, OC – Vice Chair, BMO Financial Group
• Fred Cahill – President, Cahill Group
• Mark Dobbin – President, Killick Capital
• Charlene Johnson – Noia CEO

The panel will be moderated by Bill Fanning, President & Country Manager, Kvaerner Canada.

The town hall will provide an opportunity for members to ask questions and express concerns and solutions for the future of our offshore. While there will be questions taken from the virtual floor, we expect to have a large attendance and recommend members provide questions in advance via kmorrissey@noia.ca.

While the federal government has stated that a response is coming to our concerns about the offshore industry and the challenges faced, we must demonstrate to our elected officials that our need is immediate and urgent action is required to help our industry and Noia members survive this challenging time. Your attendance at the town hall will be a show of support and help demonstrate that assistance is needed by many, and now.
