As 2020 has shown us, the world needs to be ready for anything. COVID-19 has presented many challenges for society but The Maritimes Energy Association believes that with challenge comes opportunity. This is especially true in the energy sector where climate change policies are providing the opportunity for energy diversification towards clean and lower emitting fuel sources.

This year’s C.O.R.E 2020 - Opportunities and Challenges: The Road Ahead will include a wide range of topics, including what getting to net zero by 2050 could look like in the Maritimes, the future hydrogen economy and what’s next in renewables, oil and gas, energy demand, regulation and energy policy.
